Weekend Catering Assistant

Role Responsibility

  • Assist with till operation, and cashing up
  • Ensure all cutlery, napkins, china etc is topped up.
  • Process dirty plates etc on trolleys left from nightshift
  • Process washing up using plate wash machine.
  • Assist KP in Pot wash as necessary.
  • Liaise with chef to ensure breakfast & lucnh is well stocked and keep counter looking fresh and tidy.
  • Serve customers during Breakfast & Lunch, continue to operate till and dishwash machine.
  • Top up confectionery & coffee machines.
  • Cash up at the end of service and sign documentation and declare takings. Close down and sign off till.
  • Any cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule
  • Remove any rubbish from kitchen & FOH areas
  • Clean down work area (sinks and hand-wash sink) Follow correct de-greasing/sanitisation procedure as per training. Ensure sink area/walls clean. Hygienically store/wash any cleaning materials (dishcloths, scourers etc)          
  • Any other duties as requested by the Supervisor or Chef
  • Ensure completion of all Due Diligence Paperwork
  • Ensure H&S is followed at all times

Package Description

We are looking for a Temporary weekend Catering Assistant to work every Saturday & Saturday from 8.00am until 2.00pm. There is the opportunity for additional hours to cover holiday & sickness throughout the working week so flexibility is required.
