Weekend Breakfast Cook

Role Responsibility

  • Obtain till float from safe, check and declare float on ePOS till.
  • Responsible for cooking & setting up the hot food counter for breakfast service.
  • Responsible for ensuring all cutlery, crockery, napkins, etc. are topped up.
  • Process dirty plates etc on trolleys left from nightshift.
  • Interact with customers.
  • Till operation - Using an epos system take payment from customers.
  • Process washing up using plate wash machine.
  • Ensure the breakfast service run smoothly & all breakfast items are well stocked and keep counter looking fresh and tidy.
  • Top up confectionery & snack vending machine.
  • Cash up at the end of service.
  • Sign documentation and declare takings.
  • Close down and sign off till.
  • Any cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule are to be completed.
  • Remove any rubbish from kitchen, taking to skips, re-cycling where necessary.
  • Clean down work area (sinks and hand-wash sink) Follow correct de-greasing/sanitisation procedure as per training. Ensure sink area/walls clean. Hygienically store/wash any cleaning materials (dishcloths, scourers etc)          
  • Any other duties as requested by the Catering Manager.
