Weekend Breakfast Cook
Role Responsibility
- Obtain till float from safe, check and declare float on ePOS till.
- Responsible for cooking & setting up the hot food counter for breakfast service.
- Responsible for ensuring all cutlery, crockery, napkins, etc. are topped up.
- Process dirty plates etc on trolleys left from nightshift.
- Interact with customers.
- Till operation - Using an epos system take payment from customers.
- Process washing up using plate wash machine.
- Ensure the breakfast service run smoothly & all breakfast items are well stocked and keep counter looking fresh and tidy.
- Top up confectionery & snack vending machine.
- Cash up at the end of service.
- Sign documentation and declare takings.
- Close down and sign off till.
- Any cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule are to be completed.
- Remove any rubbish from kitchen, taking to skips, re-cycling where necessary.
- Clean down work area (sinks and hand-wash sink) Follow correct de-greasing/sanitisation procedure as per training. Ensure sink area/walls clean. Hygienically store/wash any cleaning materials (dishcloths, scourers etc)
- Any other duties as requested by the Catering Manager.
