Weekend Catering Assistant
Role Responsibility
- Assist chef in setting up counter for meal services, ensuring all cutlery, napkins, china etc is topped up.
- Clear items from previous shfit.
- .Ensure compliance to Health and Safety, Food safety policies
- Process washing up using plate wash machine.
- Assist chef in Pot wash as necessary.
- Liaise with chef to ensure service areas are well stocked and keep counter looking fresh and tidy.
- Serve customers during meals, supporting other areas
- Set up for next shift.
- Complete all compliance documents
- Any cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule
- Remove any rubbish from kitchen, re-cycling where necessary.
- Clean down work area (sinks and hand-wash sink) Follow correct de-greasing/sanitisation procedure as per training. Ensure sink area/walls clean. Hygienically store/wash any cleaning materials (dishcloths, scourers etc)
- Any other duties as requested by the Duty Manager
- Assist with sports and Hospitality events
Package Description
We are looking for smart professional candidates to join our team as weekend catering assistants. We have varying hours available Saturday and Sunday.
The role is based on a 44 week permanent contract with the opportunity for overtime to support our busy environment. Full training given covering Health and Safety; Food Safety and Job Skills.
Uniform and safety shoes provided.
