Wedding Events Coordinator

We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to join the team at this fantastic venue, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh. The role as Wedding Events Coordinator will manage the end to end life of the wedding enquiry, handling the event management from booking onwards.

For over 40 years we have been providing bespoke catering and hospitality services for sports stadia, racecourses, visitor, attractions, historic venues, major events and premium airline lounges. Role Responsibility

Building lasting relationships with clients through creating an exceptional customer experience, understanding their needs you will promote the venue and look for opportunities to gain further business via referrals. Understanding the local market and other venues you will be able to promote the Botanics as a leading choice to customers. Handling enquiries, you will also prepare contract and issue invoices. A proactive, professional nature is key to this role as we want someone who can secure new business whilst offering an exceptional level of service.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • A proven track record in event coordination, wedding specific would be advantageous
  • A good researcher, negotiator, and client focussed approach
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills and understanding of customer needs
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to prioritise various job demands

 

Package Description

Up to £22,000 + Bonus
