Waste Manager
Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Waste Manager to join our team based at one of our Global Pharmaceutical contracts in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
This is a career enhancing role for someone who wants to utilise their skills.
Role Responsibility
- To ensure contractors’ compliance with legislation and contract obligations
- To ensure effective management of the waste contractor across a number of pharmaceutical sites
- Invoice assessment and approval
- Undertaking site waste audits
- Data management and assessment
- Service delivery enhancements to support contract objectives
- Ensure effective management of the waste contractor across 8 GSK sites
- Ensure contractors’ compliance with legislation and contract obligations

The Ideal Candidate
- Graduate calibre
- Minimum of 3-5 years UK waste management experience in a management role
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sector advantageous but not essential
- Contract management experience advantageous but not essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to progress beyond this role
