Vending and Distribution Operative

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Vending and Distribution Operative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • Work with and support all units/departments within the CPU to ensure all aspects of the contract are delivered at all times
  • Maintain the vending offer as directed in line with vending guidelines
  • Undertake weekly stock counts for submission to the CPU Accounts Supervisor
  • Undertake any adhoc deliveries as required by the Stores Supervisor
  • To provide a first point of contact to our customers and deal politely, professionally and efficiently with any queries and complaints, informing your line manager when appropriate
  • To ensure all vending van bar is clean at all times
  • Perform daily vehicle checks on all transport being used
  • To ensure that vending HACCP is adhered to at all times
  • Undertake any other reasonable task as directed by your line manager
  • To ensure all stock is rotated correctly and any close to date is marked down and cleared according to policy
  • Review product range periodically and report issues to your line manager
  • To order and receive deliveries accurately and according to policy
 
 

 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Previous experience of working in an operational role
  • Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
  • Food Safety Level 2

Desirable:

  • Experience of working within military environment
