Vending and Catering Assistant

Job Introduction

Reporting into the Hospitality Team Leader, the Vending Operator will be responsible for restocking and cleaning vending and coffee machines on client premises.  The successful candidate becomes the face of the company to the client, and so they need to be personable, professional and presentable at all time. The ideal candidate will also enjoy interacting positively with all clients.

Role Responsibility

Responsibilities

Ensuring that company operating standards are met and maintained
Ensuring that coffee machines are fill and clean, requirements are met and maintained 

Completing any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage and cleaning schedules

Responsible for reporting minor 1st line machine faults
Maintaining effective communication with Supervisor  and your Line Manager
Ensuring technical faults are notified to the Service Help Desk
Under direction of Supervisor, providing cover for colleagues’ when necessary
Ensuring any areas of customer dissatisfaction brought to your attention are immediately notified to your Supervisor/Manager

Support in other catering areas as required

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience in a food service environment
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • The ability to demonstrate great team work
