Training Manager - Aviation

We’re looking for a talented and innovative Training Manager to join our global Virgin Atlantic operations, based primarily in Heathrow Airport. In this position, you’ll develop a suite of creative and engaging training initiatives for teams across our portfolio of Virgin Atlantic lounges.

On top of an already exciting and varied role, you’ll also get the opportunity to frequently travel “across the pond” to train our American colleagues and around three times a year, you’ll visit Johannesburg, South Africa, too. We envisage you’ll travel to USA for approximately one week of every month, funded by the business.

Role Responsibility

• Working with managers to understand their training requirements
• Developing engaging and innovative learning content
• Delivering your own, and centrally developed content to teams
• Coaching managers to deliver their own training sessions
• Supporting the major events teams during peak periods
• Creating and maintaining a comprehensive onboarding experience for all new starters

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven training delivery experience in a hospitality environment, ideally supporting a high-end operation
• An engaging and creative presenter with the ability to make learning fun
• Highly organised and have brilliant time management skills able to multi-task and prioritise an ever-changing workload.
• Great people and communication skills, able to build strong working relationships within the, hiring community and external candidates and customers
• Degree or CIPD qualification, or willing to work towards
• Able to travel internationally for approximately one week per month

Up to £42,000 + bonus + benefits
