BeNCH CRC are currently recruiting for a full time manager with specific focus on Through The Gate and Resettlement of Service Users.

You will manage a team of operational staff to meet contractual delivery requirements and ensure service quality is constantly improving.  You will ensure effective and professional management of all offenders under your responsibility, combining rehabilitative approaches and controls to help offenders change their attitudes and behaviours and deliver the punishments of the courts.

The BeNCH prisons are HMP Peterborough male and female estate, HMP Bedford, HMP The Mount , HMP Woodhill

Role Responsibility

You will be a local leader and the contact point for other agencies in the locality and work closely with other BeNCH CRC managers and staff to ensure we make effective use of available services.  We expect you to demonstrate a keen interest in making a difference and a track record of delivering change for the better.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, sound judgment, an ability to resolve complex problems and a commitment to valuing diversity and achieving equality.

We are particularly keen to hear from you if you have strong leadership and team building skills. You will need to demonstrate full understanding of probation practice and the associated operational management requirements.

Evidence of working effectively and creatively with partners and stakeholders is desirable along with the ability to have vision and be innovative.

Package Description

Pay Band 5, Starting salary £35,549 per annum

Unsocial Hours will apply

Interviews will take place on 17^th and 18^th December.

The role of BeNCH CRC is to rehabilitate service users, reduce reoffending and protect the public and we are one of six CRCs operated by Sodexo Justice Services in the UK.  We work with service users both in the community and in custody to deliver the sentence of the court, to rehabilitate them and to provide a range of programmes and interventions to turn their lives around.  We deliver effective offender management and rehabilitation services to low and medium risk service users and our highly skilled staff work in a range of disciplines to make a real difference.  Our aim is to create a better future for the people we work with - service users, victims and their families and local communities.  We are proud to have strong relationships with other criminal justice agencies, local authorities, health trusts, employment and training providers, and work with contracted partners to enhance delivery to our service users.
