Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced engineering professional to join one of our global pharmaceutical contracts as the Technical Services Lead.

Reporting to the Global Account Director you will provide strategic technical and energy leadership to the account in order to deliver significant business growth and profitability. You will also be accountable for effectively lead and influence on-site technical services teams and develop and maximise technical projects.

Role Responsibility

  • Facilitate technical resources from Service Operations to deliver objectives
  • Provide thought leadership on all technical services and energy management practices and guidance to the contract as the subject matter expert
  • Provide technical direction and expertise to contract across regions by promoting Sodexo strategies and service offers
  • Actively work across the contract as part of the Senior Leadership team
  • Develop Lifecycle strategy and plans in line with Sodexo and Client strategies
  • Implement and maintain business improvement and process improvement into all areas of technical services and energy management across the account
  • Become a service line of excellence to internal and external clients
  • Work with the Service Operations, Segment operational & functional teams to ensure a standardised, consistent and compliant approach is implemented across the region (Technical, Energy, OE)
  • Provide strategic technical and energy leadership to the European region in order to deliver significant business growth and profitability
  • Ensuring that all requirements of the Technical Services Centre of Excellence are implemented, embedded and delivered across the contract
  • Ensure that all technical services are being delivered in a safe, compliant, diligent and cost effective manner.
  • Define a robust and achievable strategy which will successfully improve the regions performance in technical services and energy management
  • Develop strong relationships with our clients and customers across the contact with our clients and customers across the contract

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Chartered Engineer with over 5 year experience
  • Region delivery experience
  • Validation of equipment and systems within Regulated environments
  • Representative and active involvement on Industry bodies
  • Client business language is English – therefore must have excellent oral and written English
  • Experience of deploying standard processes and systems across different geographies.
  • Experience in Engineering Maintenance techniques and performance measurement
  • Experience in Project Management techniques across full project lifecycle
  • Extensive experience of having operated successfully at a senior technical level within an outsourced B2B environment  and/or industry related environment
  • Experience of working in critical environments ideally with experience in Pharma, manufacturing and data centres
  • Demonstrable track record of developing successful operational strategies across a broad portfolio
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Development of commercially viable solutions based on rigorous techniques to understand client needs and price products/services accordingly
  • Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen
  • Proven track record of initiating and leading demanding business change programmes
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills
  • High standards of numeracy and written communication

Desirable

  • Other European languages are advantageous
  • Energy Management qualification
  • Experience of working with multinational teams specifically across Europe.
  • Proven engineering experience of working in a pharmaceutical/GxP environment
