Systems Manager (CRC)

Job Introduction

Due to internal promotion within the IS&T Team we are currently recruiting a Systems Manager to manage the CRCs (Community Rehabilitation Companies) within the Sodexo Justice Services Community team. We can offer flexibility to the base location of this role as you will be expected to travel across all 6 CRCs locations (NorthumberlandEssex, Norfolk & Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire,  Cumbria & Lancashire and South Yorkshire and to visit Sodexo’s Salford and our London offices on a regular basis.

You will report to the Head of IT, SJS Community, manage and own the delivery of the CRC Systems for the provision of the business applications, reporting and analytics into the CRC business units. You will drive the strategic direction of the system platforms to support the case management and performance management objectives and contractual responsibilities of the CRC users and support the obtainment and maintenance of accreditations/certifications relating to CRC Systems.

Role Responsibility

  • Management of the CRC systems. Defines and develop the required roadmaps to support the strategic goals of the business
  •  Provide hands-on technical support, development and internal consultancy on the use of the systems
  •  Resolution of system errors and support calls at Level 3 in liason with the suppliers
  •  Support and enable system extracts for core business analysis
  • Provide analysis to the wider business to demonstrate CRC IT Support team performance against KPIs.
  •  Management of CRC IT projects
  •  Develop and support operational procedures that meet contractual requirements and ensure they are well documented and kept up to date
  •  Providing evidence for compliance reporting and audits
  •  Manages suppliers service and delivery, including the interface to the MoJ central services
  •  Work with the wider IS&T group to ensure alignment to central, established processes, certifications and accreditations where required.
  • Continually improve the efficiency and productivity of systems through use of information from incidents and problem management systems as well as  working with the CRC Service Support Team Leader.
  • Support cover for the CRC ICT Support Team Leader, inclusive of live service support and oversight of the technical team.
 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience in  Data Analysis
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrable understanding of interface techniques and tools
  • Understanding of  system best practice / standards such as ITIL and CESG standards.
  • Logical and Analytical approach to fault finding/elimination
  • Demonstrable experience of interpreting business need and strategic goals to feed management and development of systems
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet Business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of working to application of ISO27001 standards
  • Must achieve clearance to work on systems at “Official” / “Official Sensitive” status within 3 months of start date.

Desirable

  • ITIL Certified
  • Experience of at least one full project lifecycle
  • Substantive qualification in Data management/reporting/analytics
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a CRC environment
  • Hold a valid UK driving license
