Supplier Assessment Manager

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Assessment Manager to take accountability for supporting and managing supplier assessment project plans for a global pharmaceutical contract.

This is a role in a busy pharmaceutical environment where adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements is paramount.

Attention to detail is crucial as you will be engaging with many stakeholders within Sodexo as well as clients.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Manage the supplier assessment project including the project plan.
  • Lead meetings with contract Informed Client and Supplier Quality Assurance and Suppliers, ensuring Sodexo Compliance are also informed of progress. Maintain on-going communication with these groups as necessary.
  • Carry out relevant training for activities to be undertaken, including audit training and contract specific training.
  • Ensure project plan is adhered to, escalating any issues with adherence to Sodexo Compliance and Client so that appropriate action can be agreed and impact assessed.
  • Manage the supplier assessment process from start to finish so that regulatory requirements can be adhered to.
  • Build relationship with client to ensure positive client feedback on supplier assessment progress.
  • Recommend improvement to the supplier assessment process to ensure improved efficiency or compliance.

  • Experience of project management.
  • Self-motivated and pays attention to detail.
  • Experience of meeting complex client requirements.
  • Experience of communicating simply and effectively to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Experience of auditing desirable.
  • Experience of working with suppliers / in procurement desirable.
  • Experience of working in a regulated industry desirable.
