Student Experience Manager

Job Introduction

Do you know what students want from their College experience? Are you engaging and passionate about people? We are looking to recruit a Student Experience Manager to lead student engagement for a high profile business school. Through innovation, event management, general business support and effective communication (marketing, PR, social media), you will act as the Sodexo brand ambassador and ensure that students are supported, engaged and enjoying their education experience.

Role Responsibility

  • Provide an innovative student experience to all students at the business school with particular attention to feedback, marketing and engagement.
  • Provide support to operational functions – Retail and Hospitality
  • Act as the main point of contact with regard to student engagement, inc communication, events, wellbeing support and general business support.
  • Provide and maintain a uniformed approach to communications to the students
  • Provide and manage a marketing and communications plan throughout the year that enables Sodexo to continuously be able to communicate with students with regards to events, comments and feedback.
  • Provide training and support to designated personnel across the portfolio to enable the best student experience possible
  • Maintain and grow social media channels, increasing engagement and continuously pushing for innovation
  • Innovate new and interesting ways to engage with students with an engaging calendar of events
  • Build strong working relationships with university teams as appropriate
     

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role, teamed with a sound understanding of digital marketing and communication strategies
  • Real people person, naturally enthusiastic and engaged - Must understand the modern student expectations
  • Experience of using various communication mediums (marketing, PR) to engage and retain students or customers
  • Sound understanding of social media platforms and marketing
  • Highly personable with excellent customer focus
  • Strong communicator with an ability to communicate to all levels effectively
  • Proactive and highly organised
  • Extremely flexible
  • An excellent eye for detail
