We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join the Sodexo team at Ascot; we are looking to recruit a Staffing Administrator to join the HR team on site. This role will provide administration support to the staffing and training teams on site, who recruit and train the casual hospitality staff at Ascot; it’s an excellent opportunity for someone to start their career within the exciting world of hospitality and events. Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for managing accommodation, transport, uniform and expenses for newly recruited staff, ensuring people have places to stay during long events like Royal Ascot and have the correct uniforms for the area they are working in. Communicating these details prior to events will be your responsibility. You will work with the Senior Staffing Coordinators on costs/budgets of recruitment ensuring staffing costs meet expected budgets, you will also be checking staff are paid correctly and helping to ensure the correct levels of casual staff are working for race days and events. You will be required to be present on race days and key events, including Royal Ascot where the hours are long but the rewards are amazing. The role is a mixture of office work and operational, you will be hands on during race days and events, checking in staff, issuing relevant paperwork and liaising with the kitchen to order staff lunches. In addition you will support the Senior Staffing Coordinators to attract and recruit casual staff via recruitment fairs, universities and networking events. This is a demanding role due to long hours during event season however is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of our most high profile Clients.

  • Flexible to work weekends/long hours during peak times – ideally evidence of this in previous roles.
  • Good attention to detail and highly organised
