Sous Chef – Central London
Job Introduction
We currently have a great opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to join our team. The candidate must have high level corporate hospitality and/or restaurant fine dining experience as well as a strong financial understanding.
Based in an impressive, central London corporate site the successful candidate would work hands on alongside the Executive Chef, developing the staff restaurant food offer as well as providing modern and constantly evolving corporate hospitality menus. Managing a team of 3 chefs and 2 porters to execute this.

40hrs Monday – Friday with some evenings as required
Role Responsibility
As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the day to day running of the kitchen and deputizing in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Executing corporate hospitality and fine dining to the highest level.
- Menu planning
- Ordering food
- Kitchen administration
- Health and Safety and Allergen compliance
- Delivering team briefings
- Craft training activities
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Relevant NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
- Proven technical experience in a Sous Chef role within a food driven corporate hospitality environment, restaurant or hotel.
- Possess good knowledge of operational health & safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in high volume catering as well as fine dining experience
- Intermediate or Advance Food Hygiene
- Health & Safety qualifications are an advantage
