Soft Services Manager

Job Introduction

Are you an experienced Soft Services Manager with a proven track record? Have you always wanted to work for a truly global company? Does managing Soft services at a modern blue-chip company site sounds like your next challenge?

You would be the main point of contact for Sodexo on site, to manage and control site Soft Services - cleaning, mail room, front of house and customer experience services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic manager to progress within the integrated FM business along with the opportunity to develop skills to progress into senior management.

Role Responsibility

  • Manage Front of House, Cleaning and Mail Room services across the site
  • Monitor, manage and review all aspects of services daily
  • Ensure the team co-ordinate the delivery of exceptional front of house services
  • Implement safe working practices to ensure safety of building occupiers and visitors
  • Monitor the team’s performance promoting achievements and identifying weaker areas for improvements
  • Ensure all services are covered at all times (Holidays, sickness and absences) across the site
  • Attend to any reasonable request made by line manager or the client and act as the main point of contact for all soft services requests
  • Carry out regular contract performance meetings with line manager and client
  • Support line managers through regular meetings
  • Stocktake of consumables, ordering and monitoring and identifying any shortage to your line managers
  • Ensuring approval procedures are followed at all times
  • Ensure all training and development folders are up to date and relevant training carried out
  • Ensure all risk assessment are completed for all site task and in date
  • Ensure all COSHH folders are up to date
  • Ensure that Sodexo accountancy, documentations and administration procedures are delivered to the required contractual specification
  • Maintain the standards and carry out daily service audits across sites once a month

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all levels
  • Proven management experience in a Corporate Soft Services environment
  • IOSH Managing Safety Qualification
  • Experience and knowledge of managing delivery performance of an in-house and outsourced services to agreed KPI’s
