Soft Services Manager

Job Introduction

Based at one of our high profile pharmaceutical contracts in Maidenhead, Berkshire we are looking to recruit a Soft Services Manager to take accountability for all catering and cleaning services and those teams on site.

We require a motivated and people focused manager who was to support growth and who wants to utilise their skills.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Organise and coordinate all Sodexo activities: to ensure standards of service detailed in the
  • Service Level Agreement and Schedules contained within the Contractual Terms are achieved and
  • maintained.
  • Ensure that on-site security systems in respect of all functions managed by Sodexo are effective and maintained         
  • Hold Daily Briefings with staff, along with Monthly Staff Meetings with a clear agenda and with minutes taken.
  • Undertake client meetings in line with the Service Level Agreement and to ensure the building of relationships at all levels within the client structure and with key stakeholders.
  • Continually monitor all food standards, to ensure that they are to the required client and Sodexo satisfaction.
  • Monitor all hygiene standards, to ensure they are maintained to the required client and Sodexo satisfaction as outlined by Safeguard.
  • To ensure that all food is prepared with due care and attention, particularly in regard to customers’ special dietary requirements: for example, nut, dairy or wheat allergies.
  • Prepare the annual Catering Budget.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong level of literacy and numeracy
  • Experienced business manager who has operated in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Experience of managing an overall budget with diverse functional components.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clear and effective leadership style
  • Ability to analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions / approaches.
  • Strong ability to increase individual effectiveness through leadership, motivation, communication, coaching and training
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Computer literate
  • Able to demonstrate positive attitude to self-development, willingness to learn in role and identify own training needs as appropriate
