Job Introduction

Role Responsibility

  • Provide Ad-hoc support for our security operations across all services
  • Ensuring buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure
  • To ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming, strictly adhering to the local site uniform requirements.
  • To deal efficiently and effectively with emergencies including fire and bomb scares ensuring the customers are kept fully informed at all times.
  • Provide assistance to third party contractors / visitors ensuring all local site procedures / policies are adhered too.
  • To liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents and the provision of information.
  • Patrolling, securing and monitoring premises, sometimes with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV)
  • Diligent management and maintenance of site records / reference materials including Health & Safety records, Incident Forms and the site occurrence book
  • Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events.
  • To develop excellent working relationships with our onsite customers
  • To carry out search procedures tactfully and professionally according to local client requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to focus on best practice, the Site Support Officer will use his/her creative approach and personality to influence at all levels
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to articulate clearly and credibly with various clients, senior managers and all staff.
  • Capability to work unsupervised and take responsibility
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible

Deputy Supervisor/ Front of House Security Officer

Sodexo are delighted to offer an opportunity to join the Security team here at Nestle Tutbury. This is an exciting full-time and permanent role and the suitable candidate willdeputisefor the SecuritySupervisor.

The roleis based around a 0700-1600 Monday to Friday shift pattern as a base and whilst also fillingholiday or sickness (thismay include weekends ornights).

This is no ordinary corporate security officer role, this will require a high-calibreindividual with exceptional customer service and communicationskills, ensuring a warm and professional welcome to the visitors and contractors that come to what is a very busy site.

The team here conduct numerous roles including front of house duties (reception), logistics co-ordination and all the usual roles you would associate with a corporate security gatehouse role. Roles, include but not limited to:

  • Reception/Front of house
  • Patrols
  • Logistics
  • Fire Alarm system operation and monitoring
  • General site co-ordination
  • Access and egress control- vehicle and pedestrian
  • Inducting contractors
  • Site switchboard

  • Excellent computer and literacyskills.
  • Professionaltelephone manner.
  • Friendly and approachable disposition.
  • To be able to think on your feet and work under pressure.
  • Impeccable personal presentation.
  • To beable to work in and help improve an already well respected team.
  • Experience in a customer service related security role.
  • To be able to work some nights and weekends.
  • Show strong leadership skills for a potential deputy supervisor role.

A valid SIA license is essential.
