Site Services Manager

Job Introduction

We have a new requirement for a Site Services Lead, to be based at our cl client site in Milton Keynes

Role Responsibility

  • Operational & financial responsibility of catering, cleaning & security services. Personnel and admin support of security.
  • Deliver a consistent level of service within Company standards, to contract specification and agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets
  • Responsible for the management of all direct reports including effective communication, recruitment, induction, training and performance
  • Positive management of the Client/Supplier relationship to ensure excellent partnership working.
  • Support and team working with other managers within the group.
  • Ensure services are delivered on site within budget, controlling spending to maximise profitability
  • Adherence to and monitoring of site KPIs and preparation of reports for client and GSM/Account Director
  • Effective client relationship management – ensuring positive, partnership working and client retention
  • Application of best practices from across the business at a site level
  • Ensure contract billing, payroll and all other financial responsibilities on site are completed accurately, consistently and in a timely manner
  • Management of all vendors, ensuring compliance to Client and Sodexo policies
  • To have full operational oversight of unit H&S to ensure compliance with Sodexo and Client policies along with statutory duties
  • To drive a positive H&S culture on site
  • Coaching and leadership of the site team
  • To liaise with HR and other Sodexo functions to ensure appropriate management of any issues occurring
  • Effective management of labour resource on site
  • To support other managers on the CCEP contract and within the GSM’s area of business
  • To deputise for the GSM where required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to deliver positive results across a variety of service streams
  • Sound commercial knowledge
  • Good problem solving and an ability to work autonomously
  • High level of IT literacy
  • An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers and all stakeholders across the contract
  • An ability to influence others, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable background in service delivery to a large client
  • IOSH or equivalent
  • Knowledge of risk management and the mitigation of risk
  • An ability to enable change and experience of coaching to achieve positive outcomes
  • Experience of performance management within the workplace
