Site Services Manager - Integrated Facilities Management

Sodexo Corporate Services are recruiting an Integrated Facilities Management Site Lead for our prestigious client site in Maidenhead.

As Site Lead, you will manage a fully integrated facilities management (IFM) contract across the client’s site, encompassing both hard & soft services, ensuring cost, safety, quality, continuous improvement and compliance metrics are achieved by Sodexo.

You will be responsible for relationship management with our clients Senior Managers and Executives to ensure services support and facilitate the full range of business operations.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure that the Company's, the clients and statutory regulations regarding food safety, health & safety and Equal Opportunities are complied with.
  • Financial management of site Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) budget, variable budget and discrete budget, whilst maintaining Sodexo P&L.
  • Lead a site level operations team in multiple service lines and from within third party suppliers, using a coaching style to guide and drive the team to deliver site objectives.
  • Track, monitor and continuously improve performance metrics and indicators for the site.
  • Deploy compliance processes locally and identify/escalate operational risks to governance teams.
  • Maintain ethics and compliance values even when potential risk exists; for both Sodexo and the client.
  • Be fully responsible for the services, infrastructure and project delivery across the site to ensure ongoing development
  • Establish and develop key relationships with senior client stakeholders and the service providers to enable successful delivery of cost savings and service level agreements.
  • Represent the site at local contract governance forum’s
  • Develop and deliver a robust site strategic development plan in all areas of responsibility
  • Drive operational excellence and therefore an efficient operating model in order to minimise the overall operating cost of the facility
  • Ensure that in-house training and staff development is effectively carried out in accordance with the Training and Development Plan.
  • Supervise the recruitment process of Sodexo Management staff to ensure the optimum candidates are available and succession planning is considered.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Considerable experience in a  IFM leadership/management role
  • Experience of delivering soft and technical services through a management team across one or more sites
  • Proven experience of managing a high profile, quality led P&L contract
  • Experience of leading a team and effectively managing a budget (circa 45 personnel)
  • Significant experience within a multi service line FM environment
  • Experience of leading a local project management team
  • Familiar with operational excellence techniques/philosophy
  • Excellent relationship management at all levels
  • High level of practical knowledge of SHE and legislative requirements
  • High level of practical knowledge of technical services or relevant technical qualification, and soft services

Desirable / Supporting Technical & Catering Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Qualified engineer or equivalent qualifications in Catering
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 1&2
  • Authorised Person (Trade Discipline Specific)
  • Certification in Risk Assessment
  • ISO Standards Internal Auditor
  • Water hygiene & quality Management (L8)
  • BIFM or CIBSE desirable
