Site Lead - Montrose

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Site Lead to lead an on-site team of employees managing a fully integrated facilities management (IFM) contract across the client’s site, encompassing both hard & soft services , including, M&E services, building services, reception, meeting & conference rooms, hospitality catering, vending, cleaning, mailroom and office services

.  

Role Responsibility

• Role model service excellence behaviour and embed the principles of customer service within the team, ensuring service behaviours, attitudes and attributes are fully understood and demonstrated in daily practice.
• Be able to implement and maintain a safety driven culture across the site and its employees
• Leading and managing a team to deliver IFM services to the agreed specification and the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets
• Ensure robust Business Continuity / Crisis Management plans and processes are in place and implemented when required
• Recruiting, inducting and developing talented employees within the contract and to manage poor performance
• Complete routine quality audits and customer journeys for all services at the required frequencies, including Stop Shift Audits.
• To provide technical support to colleagues as required and contribute at all times to a good team performance.
• Provide Workplace Services and Sodexo with management information and reports as may be reasonably required for the overall monitoring, planning and control of the contract or for other management purposes.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by senior management in order to meet the operational requirements of the
• Ensure that all establishment employees are suitably trained and fully aware of Sodexo and GSK Systems SHE systems and policies.
 

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in delivering technical services
• Experience of working in a Pharmaceutical or controlled environment with an understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Proven experience of managing a high profile, quality led P&L contract
• Business acumen and knowledge of external industry developments
• Experience of implementing new initiatives and change management processes
• Experience in leading and managing a high performing team
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Excellent relationship management abilities at all levels
• IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
• IOSH Managing Safely Certificate
• High level of practical knowledge of all
   SHE and general legislative requirements
• Relevant Technical Qualification(s)

Desirable / Supporting Technical Qualifications and Competencies:
•  Degree a qualified engineer (desirable)
•  NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 1&2
•  Authorised Person (Trade Discipline Specific)
•  Certification in Risk Assessment
•  ISO Standards Internal Auditor
•  Water hygiene & quality Management (L8)
•  BIFM or CIBSE desirable
•  NVQ level 3 time served technician, who has then progressed into management with some form of management or FM qualification.
