Site Facilities Co-ordinator

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a Site Facilities Co-ordinator to work in the one of our Dublin sites.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative

Role Responsibility

  • Manage a site team and subcontractors to provide full FM services to include: Planned Preventative & Reactive Maintenance, Caretaking, Cleaning & Housekeeping, Fire Safety, Waste Control, Telecommunications, Fire & Emergency Procedures,  Helpdesk, Disaster Management, Energy Management, etc
  • Ensure delivery of contract to agreed level of quality
  • Ensure compliance in all areas including operations, H&S SMS & Environmental (waste management) and quality management systems.
  • Monitor and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities
  • Coordinate the work of subcontractors on site in line with PPM schedule, including checking site specific risk assessments and method statements.
  • Manage contractor reports, correspondence and verification of work completed.

Manage staffing levels in accordance with company policy and procedures, maintaining records, time and attendance ensuring accurately reflect hours worked.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Qualification in engineering, construction or building related subject together with relevant experience
  • Electrical and mechanical understanding and experience
  • Experience of monitoring the delivery and quality of work carried out by contractors from start to completion, ensuring delivery of high quality of work and achieving high customer satisfaction within budgetary targets and providing a cost effective value for money service
  • Experience of MS Office and associated facilities management software
  • Experience in managing health and safety
  • Ability to take ownership and be accountable for all aspects of service/repair end–to-end ensuring delivery within timescales, high quality and excellent customer satisfaction
  • Ensuing able to work outside of normal hours if an emergency situation arises needing urgent attention.

Desirable

  • Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and KPIs. Ensuring team members comply with service obligation
  • Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of the principles and responsibilities imposed by law, codes of practice and other regulations appropriate to Health & Safety.
