Shift Leader (Food Services)

We will soon be launching a brand new sub and salads concept called Sub Connection. We will be the first site in the UK to have this exciting new brand available to our customers so are on the look out for the perfect addition to our family. This is an excellent opportunity for a keen individual with branded fast service dining experience.
Working within Merville Barracks, home to the British Army’s rapid response brigade and delivering the largest food offer across the entire Defence contract, your main role is to deliver an outstanding service to every customer every time.
This is a brand new role as part of a new subs and salads food concept. You will be hands on leading from the front ensuring that this new offer is an overwhelming success from day one.
Sub Connection is a new and exciting brand currently in America and we will be the first site in the UK to launch. Therefore huge focus will be on you and your team to ensure every customer gets the perfect sub or salad every time.
You will need to ensure that your team are compliant with Company safety management systems at al times, place food orders as well as be on the floor supporting your team during peak periods.
The Ideal Candidate
- Good numerical and communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of health & safety and food safety
- Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
- Must be available to work shifts between 06:00 and 22:00 Monday - Sunday.
- Must have experience within a branded fast service dining outlet.
- IOSH and CIEH qualifications or equivalent
- Proven track record of employment within the catering/hospitality industry
