Services Manager Level 2 (Catering, Retail, Cleaning)

Job Introduction

We are seeking to recruit an experienced facilities management professional to become a Services Manager level 2, overseeing the delivery of all soft services on site. With a focus on delivering catering, retail and cleaning services on site, this is a great opportunity to develop your management skills working in a unique military environment.

Role Responsibility

  • Reporting to the Account Manager and operating as the Services Manager to deliver exceptional service standards on site
  • Accountable for catering, cleaning, retail and all other soft services
  • Lead, develop and engage teams
  • Work closely with clients and customers to ensure a high quality service is delivered and expectations are met.
  • Manage all aspects of Health & Safety, environment and quality assurance.
  • Ensure that the company/contract accountancy, documentation, audits and administration procedures are carried out to the company standard.
  • Have full control over the profit and loss account, including the proper control of costs and resources. Optimise sales, marketing and opportunities for organic growth of services.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience of managing multiple soft services (catering, retail, cleaning)
  • A qualification or relevant experience in business management
  • Management knowledge of HSWA, IOSH and COSHH
  • Proven track record of leading, managing and developing a team
  • Proven ability to develop new business opportunities
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Commercial awareness and financially astute
