Senior Staffing Coordinator
Job Introduction
We have an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality and events to join the staffing team at Sodexo, this role will help to manage the recruitment of casual staff within our Heritage venues portfolio whilst supporting two of our additional sites; Hamilton Park and Perth Racecourse. Role Responsibility
This role will focus on ensuring we have the correct number of casual staff recruited and trained so our venues and events teams can deliver an exceptional level of service that clients and customers expect. We have a range of prestigious venues across Scotland we look after, from heritage buildings to sporting venues, this role will also support on resourcing staff for The Open Championship. This role will make sure the consistent procedures are in place, inductions and training set up, establishing recruitments days, working with local universities and attending job fairs. Part of this role will also involve looking at costs and budgets, ensuring the spend on agencies and recruitment is in line with budgets and saving costs where possible. This is an excellent, varied role which will require the individual to work occasional weekends to cover events and also work at The Open which will involve some travel and weekend work, therefore some flexibility is required. |
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have some recruitment or staffing experience however full training will be provided, therefore we would also like to hear from people with a passion and interest in events and hospitality. Also important is confidence, enthusiasm, good communication skills and strong organisational skills. |
