Senior Reporting Manager (FP&A)

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Reporting Manager in the FP&A team based in Salford.

You will report Sodexo UK&I financials ensuring accuracy and respect of deadlines for all phases of the reporting process (actuals, forecast, budget), and . You will manage two Analysts, develop their skills and drive their engagement.

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with demonstrable prior experience working in an FP&A reporting role.

Role Responsibility

  • Organise monthly reporting calendar in collaboration with the Finance Control Manager.
  • Report monthly segmented actuals in the group reporting tool and ensure accuracy and consistency of data, as well as respect of deadlines, working with the Finance Control Manager.
  • Communicate and organise group requirements in line with monthly, quarterly, budget, forecast and landing deliverables, in collaboration with Segment and Overheads teams.
  • Analyse regional results, being able to measure Sodexo KPI’s appropriately and normalising underlying performance for senior management.
  • Communicate system outputs to segment teams and organise the process for preparation of monthly comments with them. Produce the summary comments for Group and the Regional Leadership Committee.
  • Work with the business operational teams to understand key business drivers and performance indicators.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes to find efficiencies in the production of information and enable focus on qualitative analysis.
  • Support ad-hoc deliverables from the Head of FP&A and Regional CFO ensuring both senior leaders have the relevant information for presentations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
  • Experienced professional Finance Manager with demonstrable experience working in an FP&A/reporting role.
  • Experience of co-ordinating budgets/forecasts and communication with global stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, knowledge of SAP and HFM would be a plus.
  • Good management skills.
  • Articulate and confident speaker who is not afraid to challenge the norms.
  • Resilient and motivated with drive and determination to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to produce financial reports in a clear and concise manner for financial and non-financial personnel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure; think clearly and act decisively.
  • Flexible and comfortable with working in a context of change.
