Senior Reporting Manager (FP&A)

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Reporting Manager in the FP&A team based in Salford. You will report consolidated Sodexo UK&I financials ensuring accuracy and respect of deadlines for all phases of the reporting process (actuals, forecast, budget), organise activities to comply with statutory accounts filing deadlines and drive continuous improvement in processes and outputs. You will manage one Analyst, develop their skills and drive their engagement.

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with experience of statutory accounts and demonstrable prior experience working in an FP&A reporting role. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated, committed, tenacious individuals to join a global company and progress your career.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Report monthly actuals (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow, KPIs) in HFM and ensure accuracy and consistency of data, as well as respect of deadlines,
  • Ensure the compliance to Group guidelines for financial reporting, and IFRS
  • Organise the monthly reporting calendar
  • Provide monthly figures to Segments and organise the process for preparation of monthly comments with them. Produce the UK&I summary comments for Group and the Regional Leadership Committee, and the quarterly business review pack for review of performance with Group
  • Work with the business operational teams to understand key business drivers and performance indicators
  • Organise and drive budget, forecast and risks & opportunities processes, in collaboration with Segment Controllers
  • Drive ccontinuous improvement of processes to find efficiencies in the production of information and enable focus on qualitative analysis.
  • Coordinate work with the auditors and external resources of the filing of the yearly statutory accounts

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA),
  • Experienced Finance person with prior experience in an FP&A reporting role
  • Good knowledge of Excel, knowledge of SAP and HFM would be a plus
  • Ability to produce financial reports in a clear and concise manner for financial and non-financial personnel,
  • Good leadership skills
  • Resilient and motivated with drive and determination to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure; think clearly and act decisively
  • Flexible and comfortable with working in a context of change
