Senior Marketing Manager

Job Introduction

We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join Peyton and Byrne (part of Sodexo) as a Senior Marketing Manager, this unique role will develop and drive the marketing strategy for the Peyton and Byrne and Peyton Events brand, both as an independent offer and as a business within Sodexo Sports and Leisure.

Peyton and Byrne was founded by renowned restaurateur Oliver Peyton in 2005, with a flexible and high quality offering they develop unique products and branding to match the needs and aspirations of their customers. Peyton and Byrne are part of Sodexo, globally recognised for hospitality excellence Sodexo help create and deliver exceptional customer experiences at world renowned venues and sporting events such as Ascot, Bateaux, The Open and RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Role Responsibility

We are looking for someone who can manage all the marketing platforms and campaigns for Peyton and Byrne and Peyton Events, ensuring all messaging and collateral are on brand. Given the recent developments with Sodexo and Peyton and Byrne, we are looking for someone who can identify the synergies between the businesses, align the marketing strategies and seek opportunities to promote the brands. In addition this role will support the future growth of the business and achieve venue sales objectives and targets.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant qualification/degree in Marketing.
  • Extensive experience in marketing either in a B2B or B2C environment
  • Experience in end-to-end planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Broad experience across different marketing activities including brand, PR, DM, print, events, digital, social media and POS 
  • Keen commercial acumen to grow and maximise sales in a highly target driven environment
  • Self-starter and problem solver who can work independently on a project from planning to implementation and in a large and complex business environment 
  • Ability to align and influence different stakeholders and work alongside other functions to achieve collective business objectives
  • Confident, ambitious and energetic
  • Ideally catering industry knowledge and interest or passion in sports, leisure or hospitality
