We currently have an opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for: Our 24 hour security operations ensuring buildings, property and people are safe and secure. Securing and monitoring premises, sometimes with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV) and when required Health and Safety and evacuation procedures. Additional duties include, weighbridge, staff & visitor reception and inductions, Driver / haulage / delivery / vehicle access control. Fire alarm monitoring and system testing.

Hours of work will be on a shift rota, 4 x 12 hour shifts (2 x days, 2 x nights) followed by 4 x rest days.

Full uniform including PPE provided

The successful candidate for this role will possess: Excellent communication skills, excellent awareness skills, basic knowledge of computer navigation including completion of spread-sheets,preferably will have experience in working in a similar role, however training will be offered for the successful candidate. You should possess a current SIA Licence – for front line operations, desirable knowledge of security techniques knowledge of site and local emergency procedures
