Security Officer
Job Introduction

Role Responsibility
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting / emergency equipmentTo undertake Control Room Duties when required
- Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
- To properly book on and off duty, as instructed and /or trained, on each occasion a duty is started and ended
- To diligently take and handover duty shift ensuring that a full check of the DOB is carried out on each takeover of duty. Ensuring that all site equipment is signed for on each shift changeover.
- Ensure all check calls are made as per Assignment Instructions
- Monitor and authorise entrance of vehicles or people in the property.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous security experience
- SIA Registered
- To provide a high quality service to the customer at the specified site following basic Job Training and Site Training
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures / protocols
- To communicate effectively in the workplace and maintain a harmonious relationship with all members of the client’s and company staff
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with working specifications, as directed by supervisor / manager
- Comply to al client policies / procedures in relation to housekeeping / infection control / security
- Attend client and company job specific training i.e. Health & Safety, Manual Handling
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Integrity and professionalism
- The ability to work independently and as a part of a team
