Security Officer
Job Introduction

Role Responsibility
As a Security Officer you could be responsible for:
Ad-hoc support for our security operations
Ensuring buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure
Patrolling, securing and monitoring premises, sometimes with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV)
Supervising the door for a large organisation
Guarding cash or other valuables in transit in a security vehicle
Driving vehicles as and when required Health and Safety and Evacuation procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
Excellent communication skills
Excellent awareness skills
Experience in working in a Customer Focused role, be Self Motivated and have Team Spirit.
Desirable
Full UK Driving License, Knowledge of security techniques
Knowledge of site and local emergency procedures

- We currently have a Day Security Officer opportunity:
- Working the following 3 week rotating roster:
- Week 1: 07.00 - 16.00
- Week 2: 08.00 - 17.00
- Week 3: 09.00 - 18.00
- Working the following 3 week rotating roster:
- Working within a team to provide security to our Clients, customers and contractors in a large manufacturing site
- SIA licenced is essential
- Full UK driving licence, preferably clean, is also essential.
- For insurance purposes all drivers must meet the following requirements:
- be over 25 years of age and
- have relevant driving experience of at least 2 years
- Excellent IT skills
- Part of the role will involve working in our Clients gatehouse, you will therefore be the first point of contact for all visitors / contractors thus ensuring access to authorised persons only
- You will also be required to complete thorough site wide patrols, using an on site vehicle
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing site would be advantageous.
- This position requires the successful applicant to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and also excellent customer service skills to ensure we continue to provide our Clients and customers with an excellent level of service.
- In addition we require our staff to be versatile and flexible to meet the needs of our Clients and customers
