Role Responsibility

As a Security Officer you could be responsible for:

Ad-hoc support for our security operations
Ensuring buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure
Patrolling, securing and monitoring premises, sometimes with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV)
Supervising the door for a large organisation
Guarding cash or other valuables in transit in a security vehicle
Driving vehicles as and when required
Health and Safety and Evacuation procedures

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

A full current driving licence
Excellent communication skills
Excellent awareness skills
Experience in working in a similar role
A SIA Licence holder – Manned Guarding Licence, SIA Licence holder – CCTV desirable
Knowledge of security techniques
Knowledge of site and local emergency procedures

Package Description

Maintain the highest standard of Security on site by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
To ensure accurate completion of documentation is completed
Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to the Site Security Manager
Carry out any duties as required by the Site Security Supervisor and Security Manager
To liaise on a daily basis with other members the Security Team, other team members, contractors and customers
All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and RB or Sodexo procedures applicable to their role
Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood and responsibilities are defined Internal and external patrols
Undertake minor investigations
Operation of CCTV and access control systems
Produce accurate and comprehensive incident reports
Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
Work in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
Respond to emergency situations
The work an average of 56 per week over days including nights and weekends on a set shift pattern Manage access control to the site
