We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

Role Responsibility

We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven Security Officer in one of our Dublin sites.


We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative. The successful candidate will support the site Security Supervisor and in turn the General Services Manager(GSM)

Role Responsibility

  • Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties to the highest levels.
  • To ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming, strictly adhering to the site uniform requirements.
  • To deal efficiently and effectively with emergencies including fire and bomb scares ensuring the customers are kept fully informed at all times.
  • To operate access control system which will include checking and verifying visitors/contractors arriving on site and issuing of access cards.
  • To operate CCTV system and monitor and feedback to management any issues.

 

  • Provide assistance to third party contractors / visitors ensuring all site procedures / policies are adhered too.
  • To liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents and the provision of information.
  • Maintain continuous monitoring of site radio systems adhering to correct radio procedures at all times.
  • Diligent management and maintenance of site records / reference materials including Health & Safety records, Incident Forms and the site occurrence book
  • To provide regular liaison and timely feedback to the management team on all aspects of service delivery, implementing effective solutions and corrective action to enhance the service.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
  • Weighbridge management including weighing in and out of bulk containers and monitoring and recording all raw materials delivered to site. Responsible for monitoring and recording all finished goods shipped from site.
  • Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events
  • To develop excellent working relationships with our on-site customers

      

 

 

 

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

The Ideal Candidate

  • PSA Static Security License required
  • Competent degree of computer literacy required
  • Previous experience in a Corporate Security role is an advantage
  • Ability to focus on best practice, the SO will use his/her creative approach and personality to influence at all levels to meet demanding targets and deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to articulate clearly and credibly with the client, senior managers and all staff.
  • Capability to work unsupervised and take responsibility
  • Aptitude to remain calm under pressure
  • Smart appearance.
  • Occupational First Aid Trained
  • Must have own transport and full driver’s license
  • May need to be flexible to cover shift absenteeism at short notice
