Sales and Events Coordinator
Job Introduction
We are looking for a Sales & Events Coordinator to join the Sodexo team at Aberdeen Football Club, this is a varied role that will involve speaking to customers, researching new opportunities and assisting with events on site. The main focus of this role is to help grow the business by converting enquiries into sales and developing successful customer relationships. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a sales or customer facing experience in the events and hospitality industry or even someone with experience of working to targets and wants to work in events.

Role Responsibility
Working within the team you will take calls and try to convert the initial enquiry into confirmed bookings, taking the opportunity to promote the venue and the range of packages available. You will also put together lists of potential new companies for the Sales Manager to focus on, gaining new contacts. Once a booking is confirmed you will ensure all the details are handed across to the operational team and the event is delivered according to the customer’s expectations. |
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a similar role and environment, however we will consider applicants from customer facing, sales or customer service roles across hospitality, events or catering. We are looking for someone who is proactive, passionate with good attention to detail and who is keen to learn.
