Job Introduction

Now recruiting for a motivated and passionate individual to sell Corporate Hospitality packages for The Open Championship, this is a rewarding role that involves driving new business focusing on new companies that haven’t attended this prestigious golf event before.

Sodexo provide retail catering, corporate hospitality, sales and marketing services and logistics for more than 45 events and venues in the UK and internationally. We are proud of our established partnership with The Open Championship, delivering all the catering for spectators, players and sponsors as well as a turnkey hospitality service that includes product development, marketing and sales of the packages for the Championship.

Role Responsibility

As a Telesales Executive, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase and enhance your sales skill set and be part of one of the greatest golfing events in the world.

  • Generating sales of Corporate Hospitality packages through cold calling
  • Where necessary, instigating and conducting face to face client meetings
  • Responsibility for managing various sales and marketing initiatives
  • Responsibility for identifying extensions and additions to industry lists
  • Responsibility for keeping a busy diary
  • Building and managing relationships with key clients.
  • Representing The Open Hospitality at PR events, exhibitions, conferences
  • Promoting the event through networking events
  • Accurate pipeline reporting on all aspects of the sales process
  • Building account plans for strategic/Key accounts

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • High level of motivation and drive with the ability to initiate and to drive through sales with limited hands on guidance
  • Experience in cold/warm calling
  • Target driven
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of how to structure a sales pitch whether it be in person, via a cold call or email.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

 

  • Desirable
  • Presentation writing experience
  • Ability to work and think as a team member
  • Experience of using a CRM system and ability to effectively manage a pipeline and lead forecast.
  • Experience of working in sports, travel & hospitality sales preferred.
