SAP (HCM) Consultant

Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our IS&T team providing SAP support based in our offices in Salford just on the outskirts of Media City. You'll support the business by maintaining and enhancing the company's SAP template and be involved in large and small projects to enhance the footprint in the areas of the specific modules of expertise.

We're looking for an experienced SAP HCM user with project experience and excellent communication skills. You’ll have excellent time management and prioritisation skills as there are a high volume of work requests. You’ll also engage with a variety of stakeholder and be involved in ongoing process improvements so the ability to adapt to change is important along with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Role Responsibility

• Support the current SAP footprint
• Analyse and solve issues
• Conduct process configuration changes for approved change requests
• Update and maintain all SAP functional documentation
• Analyse and scope end user authorization roles
• Conduct unit tests, integration tests, performance test and system integration security test
• Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
• Manage projects to enhance the current SAP footprint
• Support the functional team with issues and come up with solutions

The Ideal Candidate

What’s Essential:

• Strong knowledge and experience of the Sodexo SAP HR & payroll solution.
• Thorough knowledge of business processes within area of expertise.
• Experienced in implementation projects
• Excellent people skills and a pro-active attitude
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience in writing requirements/test scripts/process documentation
• Good knowledge of the English language is mandatory (written and verbal)
• The ability to work independently as well as in project teams

Where we can be flexible:

• Experience in defining technical requirements/designs
• Experience of SAP support and development
• Experienced in playing a major role in implementation projects
• Good knowledge of standard data migration tools within SAP i.e. via Interface
• Experience in SAP module Integration
• Understanding of Workflow scenarios
• Project Management experience
