We have a rare opportunity for a highly experienced Marketing professional to join the Sodexo Sports & Leisure team, to lead and implement the marketing strategy for the UK & Ireland business. We are a business with both customers and employees at the hearts of it’s operation, this highly autonomous and flexible role involves working with global teams, to deploy our offers across retail and food within the region.

Role Responsibility
The Marketing Director will contribute to the strategic planning process for the UK & Ireland region, working with the Global Heads of Clients & Consumer Insights, you will understand and determine information required to build a compelling regional offer portfolio. Working closely with the Global Marketing and Strategy Directors on the future development and integration of all the brands with the portfolio. This role is critical in the deployment of the offers across the operations and sales teams within our range of venues and events. Working with sales, this role will also define and deliver the marketing plans for the venue based sales teams; you will be able to demonstrate increased revenue through marking activation across the venues and the delivery of marketing plans for annual events, ensuring achievements targets. In conjunction with the Global Marketing Director, you will deliver digital transformation and innovation programmes relevant to the business, whilst ensuring the wider Sport and Leisure teams understand the concept and value creation of our positioning on Quality of Life.
The Ideal Candidate
- Working knowledge of consumers / markets / the competition
- Experienced in leading and motivating a team
- Highly collaborative with excellent communication and influencing skills
- Solid commercial background
- Innovative in the area of developing new services or renewing and reshaping existing services
- Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level with high bandwidth / capacity for multiple projects
