Project Manager (Building Services/Facilities Management)

Are you looking for an opportunity that will enable you to utilise your skill set to the max? Sodexo are recruiting for a Project Manager to manage and deliver all capital infrastructure projects to agreed specification and timelines. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, Planner and Compliance lead wile nurturing the client relationship on site.
 

Role Responsibility

•    Prepare costs for project tender process both <£100K 
•    Prepare project tenders above £100k supported by the central project, commercial and finance team
•    To manage all elements of capital projects from conception to completion, taking responsibility and accountability for every aspect. 
•    To organise and deliver resource requests from all areas of the business to support projects
•    Developing supply chain via procurement
•    Monthly reports and power point presentations related to projects performance
•    Input into quarterly review presentations related to projects performance and analysis of performance data.
•    Identify opportunities for organic growth and new business
•    Manage and coach the team against the service level agreement 
•    Manage escalation of issues to receive a suitable conclusion
•    Recruit, induct and develop talented employees within the business portfolio and to manage poor performance
 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential
     Accredited safety qualification
     PM Qualification or equivalent combination of education & experience (HND)
     Business acumen and knowledge of external industry developments 
     Experience in managing a team
     Ability to deal with conflict and manage client/customer relationships  
     Strong communication and negotiation skills 
     Excellent relationship management abilities at all levels 
     Experience working in a standards/compliance  environment 
     Track record of success in a similar senior role
Desirable
     Substantial project management experience  
     Technical knowledge in one or more of the following field: Electrical, Mechanical, AC, Civils building and fabric
