Pricing Manager

We are recruiting for a Pricing Manager to support the global Sports & Leisure business which spans across three key regions (UK&I, NORAM and France) and is targeting white space geographies such as Japan, Greater China and Spain.  Our growth ambitions are strong and the consumer is fundamentally at the heart of our business.  This role in the first instance will be focused 40% support to the UK business, 40% to the French business and 20% on building capabilities and best practice implementation in other S&L countries.

Role Responsibility

  • Work with each regional marketing, finance and operational team in order to ensure consistent pricing strategies as part of the marketing mix
  • Work closely with the head of insights to create and deploy consumer driven pricing strategies that will support our revenue management strategy across the business
  • Support the offer development process vis a vis pricing strategies
  • Monitor retail performance and drive our data analytics capabilities in conjunction with the marketing and finance teams
  • Conduct price benchmarking for specific large projects where required across the segment and make pricing recommendations.  Work with the teams to create and implement action plans which deliver results which can be measured in the form of increased volume, transaction value or loyalty (more people, more money, more often).
  • Collaborate to provide pricing guidelines and price list for Sales Team and Bid Center in accordance with segment strategy
  • Collaborate with Region Food Platform for setting National Retail Prices and updating National Catalogues for Sports & Leisure and participate in the retail factory project

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in pricing (3-5 years minimum)
  • Pricing qualification an advantage
  • Strong analytical capability
  • B2C passion – “consumer experience” mind-set
  • Experience in B2B and B2C service activities
  • Desire and passion to learn and grow
  • Analytical skills and expertise in EXCEL, Power BI and relevant platforms (thinking outside the numbers)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Good knowledge of marketing fundamentals
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good presentation and communication skills to build constructive relationships; capacity to develop influential relationships and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and well organized
  • Fluent in English and French (written and oral)
