Job Introduction

Sodexo Corporate Services are recruiting a Business Support Centre Supervisor (Post Room Supervisor) to join our clients impressive Central London office.

As Post Room Supervisor you will deliver a quality Postal and Logistic service with impeccable attention to detail, always anticipating customer needs.

 

 

Role Responsibility

  • Enhance the Mail Room and services experience at Site, Undertake the efficient receipt, delivery, collection and despatch of all postal activities. To include post, couriers, event items and all other forms of dispatch and receipt.
  • Ensure all staff are trained and multi tasked to work in all areas of the service
  • Ensure all Customers receive an outstanding service and experience.
  • To proactivity look to recommend improvements to your work processes by providing suggestions and solutions.
  • Full understanding of the scope of the Business support and the wider FM provision.
  • Dealing direct with facility users and resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Ability to multi task across all services as follows: Mail sorting and distribution, stationery fulfilment, Event Coordination, Facilities Helpdesk reporting and monitoring of KPI’S and Key Management. 
  • Oversee operation of equipment such as franking machine, authorised to use X-ray machine, Wrapping and printing machines
  • Maintain inventory and order postal supplies and products as assigned.
     

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to monitor, lead and develop a team of people within a designated area
  • Experience of working with franking machine, X-ray machine, Wrapping and printing machines
  • Highly effective communication skills at all levels
  • Good literacy and organisational skills
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to problems
  • Ability to monitor performance levels at all times
  • Understanding of relevant Health and Safety and other legislative requirements
  • Ability to take instruction from both line manager and clients
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • High standards of personal hygiene
  • ISOH qualification
  • Mail Room experience and management of people essential.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages
