Planner Scheduler

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • To be reponsible for the efficient and effective use of planning and scheduling all resources to conduct maintenance activities which result in minimum downtime and maximum productivity.
  • To support the delivery of the accounts Hard Services objectives.
  • Interact with our customers and suppliers ensuring a prompt, proffesional and efficient service, in terms of initial telephone or e-mail response, accurate recording of requests for service and escalating problems before they become issues
  • To maintain the Helpdesk, ensuring that all work requests are handled efficiently and in line with agreed SOPs
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to incoming telephone, email and facsimilie messages in line with client service levels. Attention to detail when obtaining and inputting information
  • Have a clear and professional telephone manner
  • Achieve a high degree of customer and supplier satisfaction, applying logic and common sense to requests for assistance, ensuring that identified criteria are escalated in accordance with procedures
  • To obtain and organise all information required for the Crafts to perform work
  • To provide job estimates based on craft or skills required, sequence required and number required
  • Working collaboratively withe thetechnical services supervisor to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define crft and skills and engage the proper resorces
  • Ensure all SOPs and processes are fully complied with
  • Achieve a high degree of customer and supplier satisfaction, applying logic and common sense to requests for assistance, ensuring that identified criteria are escalated in accordance with procedures
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with the clients, suppliers and key internal contacts
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Experience of providing helpdesk or call centre service, developing productive working relationships with key customers and suppliers
  • Experience working in a standards/compliance environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Capability to work unsupervised and take responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate

Desirable

  • IOSH & First Aid trained
