People and Administration Manager
Job Introduction
We are looking to recruit a People and Administration Manager to manage and deliver all aspects of staffing, training and administration for Bateaux London and Bateaux Windsor. This exciting new role will involve recruitment of staff, ensuring training in undertaken and reducing the labour costs across the three boats. Ensuring a strategic people plan is in place, this role is highly autonomous and requires an extremely organized individual. Role Responsibility
Working with the General Manager you will ensure all departments are fully staffed and training is in place to meet expectations including legislative requirements of the marine operations. The role will involve managing the production of rosters, reflecting the expectations of the business managers, controlling budgets for all aspects of staffing and communicating wage forecasts to Managers. You will support the recruitment of direct staff, ensuring presence at relevant open days and recruitment fairs to reduce the need for agency staff. Managing the payroll administration function you will ensure all wages are submitted and authorized. This is a hands on, varied role which encompasses recruitment, training, compliance and relationship management, it’s an excellent opportunity for an experienced staffing professional who wants to work in a unique environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Event and staffing experience
- Strong administration skills
- Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours and some weekends during the season.
- Able to manager budgets
- Ideally some HR knowledge.
