Nutrition Specialist

Job Introduction

We now have an exciting opportunity for Nutrition Specialist to join us for a 6 month fixed term contract to ensure the quality of the catering services is maintained at the required level.

Role Responsibility

This role involves effectively, managing and leading a team within the department to ensure the team delivers and maintains a high quality catering service. You will be responsible for efficient financial management of client business, providing high levels of customer satisfaction and managing the clients proactively to ensure all their requirements are understood. In addition you will be responsible for recruitment, training and management of all catering staff. You will be responsible for a compilation of a four week menu cycle for patient feeding whilst implementing a new method of serving patient meals.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record of leading ,managing and developing a small to medium team
  • Proven craft skills background
  • Experience of budget management
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be persuasive and decisive
  • IT literate
  • City and Guilds 706&707 or NVQ equivalent
  • Ideally some knowledge of private healthcare operations
  • IIOSHH and food hygiene certificate
