Nurse Part - Time

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a Part Time Nurse to work in one of our Kilkenny sites.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

Role Responsibility

Duties

  •  organising medication with the                                                
  • attending to sisters personal hygiene
  •  dressing them comfortably.
  •  toileting, changing pads when necessary.
  •  cleaning there teeth and dentures.
  •  frequently turning of sisters who are confirmed to bed.. bed making
  • encourage and assist ambulant sisters to mobilise Feeding the sisters washing ironing and cleaning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least two years qualificied working in a nursing position
  • Garda clearence is also required.
  • Patient handling course also an advantage.
  • Must be registered with the HSE
