Nightshift Hygiene Supervisor

Job Introduction

Sodexo Energy & Resources has an opportunity for Nightshift Hygiene Supervisor to join our Repsol Sinopec team at Talisman House, Aberdeen City Centre. The role will be from 10pm-6am, Sunday - Thursday.

Role Responsibility

  • Supervising and participating in providing a cleaning service at our Client Site in accordance with the Standard Level Agreement
  • Communicating and building relationships with the team at Talisman House to encourage provision of an excellent service
  • Responsible for the Nightshift Hygiene Team, supervising four nightshift hygiene assistants, dealing with any concerns and liaising with the Facilities Manager and Soft Services Manager
  • Ensuring a structured induction programme is given to all new employees and sub-contractors
  • Ensuring the Nightshift Hygiene Team are given all required training to comply with COSHH regulations, Hygiene Codes of Practice and Sodexo Standards
  • Ensuring all Nightshift Hygiene Employees are wearing the correct uniform and PPE as required
  • Ensure the Nightshift Team are compliant with Sodexo and the Client’s safety rules and regulations at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor is essential (3+ years)
  • A good standard of education and relevant training
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety and BICS
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Team player who shows openness, honesty  and mutual respect for team members
  • Customer focused, self-motivated and reliable
