Multiskilled Building Services Engineer HVAC

Our client is sourcing for a Multiskilled Building Services Engineer HVAC for their site in Ware, Hertfordshire. If you are trained at Heating and Ventilation NVQ L2, and you are highly organised and work effectively, we just might have your next career move ready for you.

Ideally, we would want you to be highly experienced and qualified and preferably you would have some experience in the pharmaceutical environment.

This role comes with a salary of £36,500 - £38,500 dependant on experience and skill set, annual leave, pension and further benefits.

Role Responsibility

  • Actively implement the planned & reactive maintenance and monitoring of all Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Plant and systems.
  • Perform regular monitoring of client’s system and respond to issues
  • Undertake maintenance procedures, regular checks and routine inspections
  • Available for callout to respond to ensure effective response & resolution in accordance with the client SLA.
  • Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the site engineering services.
  • Support the development and communication of best working practice.
  • Ensure completion of routine tasks, e.g. Plant room Gembas, use of correct LOTO procedures.
  • Implementation & co-ordination of small engineering & maintenance projects.
  • Implement maintenance activities, ensuring maximum efficiency of the HVAC plant & minimum services downtime.
  • Troubleshoot areas of concern on site & offer effective solutions.
  • Investigate and report in detail upon infrastructure short falls, problems and incidents, recommending options for remedial actions.
  • Implement all electrical/ mechanical site maintenance activities.
  • Co-ordinate connections to existing plant/systems.
  • Completion of Planned Preventive Maintenance & Helpdesk tasks to ensure compliance with the Service Level Agreement.
  • Operational management of 3rd party specialists & contractors.
  • Create method statements and risk assessments as required.
  • Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and effective use of site systems and equipment
  • Co-ordinate initial response to Building Management Systems (BMS) alarms
  • Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Willing to work out of hours as directed by Technical Services Managers and Supervisor to ensure maintenance regime is completed.
  • Responsible for maintenance of records to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Any other reasonable request in support of contract and KPI/SLA delivery

Desirable

  • BOAS trained
  • Electrical 17th Edition Qualified
  • Experience with working in a Pharmaceutical environment
