Match Day Supervisor - Catering

Job Introduction

Sodexo is currently looking to recruit a Hospitality Supervisor to support catering operations in Aberdeen. This role will require the candidate to work frequent weekend and evening functions and to be flexible in supporting various departments out with their own.

Role Responsibility

  • Day-to-day supervision of hospitality operations within the unit
  • Lead your team to set up and break down rooms in line with business sheets produced by the Sales Department
  • Lead your team to provide food and beverages for meetings, events and corporate hospitality
  • Work closely and liaise with the key figures both internal and external

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL

  • Excellent people skills with the ability to set an example of market leading customer service
  • Knowledge of cash handling, health and food safety
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Experience of managing a mass-catering operation (1000+ Covers)
  • Proactive and highly organised with a great attention to detail

DESIRABLE

  • Experience of public catering operations
  • Knowledge of COSHH
  • Two years previous experience in a similar role
  • Valid Scottish Certificate for Personal License Holders
  • Valid First Aid at Work Qualification
