Marketing Manager

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Manager at the Bader International Study Centre. At this elite university campus, located at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex on a 600 acre estate, you’ll develop and deliver a marketing strategy for catering services in a university and commercial environment.

The campus houses 200 resident students from Queen’s University in Canada, as well as seeing 30,000 visitors each year it also operates hospitality and events (which includes weddings and conferences), a student lounge bar and a prestigious Castle tea room.

Role Responsibility

​Develop and deliver a marketing strategy for catering services in a commercial environment. This will include a digital roadmap involving the deployment of apps and use of social media platforms to increase footfall and customer connectivity with onsite food services.

The opportunity will focus on driving commercial and retail opportunities to grow sales for commercial catering services. Gathering local customer insight as well as using industry trends to continually develop our food offers onsite will be key part of the role.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience within a Marketing role, with evidence of successful campaigns and strategies
  • Demonstrable experience or knowledge of the food retail/casual dining market
  • Organised and methodical, able to multi task and plan and prioritise work accordingly and under pressure
  • Strong experience of digital platforms and social media
  • Demonstrates good inter-personal skills and develops relationships based on mutual respect and professionalism
