Management Accountant

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit for a Management Accountant based at Tillery Valley Foods. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated part qualified Accountant to develop within a large global organisation.


Role Responsibility

  • Providing financial analysis to the management team
  • Balance sheet (to review stage)
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Overhead reporting
  • Stock reporting/reconciliations
  • Monitor capital spend in line with authorised values
  • Maintain FAR
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • PPV reporting
  • Liquidity forecasting
  • Utilities analysis
  • Schedule weekly BACS and monthly CHAPS payments – ensure that payment runs are carried out as and when required and within terms
  • Supplier Statements – reconcile supplier accounts to ensure all invoices are processed within a timely manner
  • Vendor management – Liaise with Head Office to ensure all vendor details are correct
  • Assist with Internal Control documents and audits
  • Assist with external audit queries
  • Instrastat
  • Petty Cash
  • Provide cover for Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables functions

The Ideal Candidate

  • Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own
  • Well motivated, taking a proactive approach to the role
  • Trustworthy and confidential
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Experience of working within a similar role


  • Desire to progress within the business
  • Internal/external audit experience
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
