Maintenance Planner/ Co-ordinator

Job Introduction

Role Responsibility

  • Efficient and effective development and delivery of Engineering and building Maintenance schedules to promote minimum downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with Technical Service Manager to carry out the Implementation of the client asset management strategy and delivery of asset maintenance, ensuring effective asset lifecycle management for buildings, facilities and equipment.
  • Engineering support theories and practices across building services and science services and must be able to apply a sound understanding of the principles associated with the provision of maintenance activities
  • To support the delivery of the accounts Hard Services objectives in line with client service level  Agreements and Continued improvement of the area KPI’s.
  • Interact with our customers and suppliers ensuring a prompt, professional and efficient Maintenance services. Define parts and materials, identify skills requirements and engage the proper resources.
  • Oversee the work of specialist subcontractors/supply partners to ensure they comply with Sodexo standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the area Technicians and local customer base to prioritise Planned Preventative Maintenance demands and reactive work requests accordingly and identify issues before they become problems.
  • Achieve a high degree of customer and supplier satisfaction, applying logic to requests for assistance.
  • Ensure all SOPs and processes are fully complied with at all times.
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with the clients, suppliers and key internal contacts

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Knowledge of engineering support theories and practices across Building Services and Science Services and must be able to apply a sound understanding of the principles associated with the provision of maintenance activities to these areas.
  • Experience in engineering.
  • Knowledge of procedures and compliance with GxP & SHE expectation (I.E SOP’s, SHEP’s, SSOW, Company procedures).
  • IT literate –  examples include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Maximo, SAP, Prime, Concept.
  • Data analysis capabilities and attention to detail when processing information.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Capability to work unsupervised and take responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate.

    Desirable
  •  IOSH.
  • Engineering/Building services Qualification.
  • Have excellent technical awareness and good overview of M&E building services.
  • Review existing plant maintenance regimes and instigate improvements and initiatives.
  • Good written skills and capable of producing engineering technical reports.
